European women’s singing

In the common perception of the family of musical instruments, the viola is feminine and the violin, although higher pitched, masculine. In this concert, voice and instrument alternate as sisters or lifelong friends, in pieces by great composers who, almost all of them, continuously traversed musical Europe and beyond to Russia, in a span of history from the early 1700s to the late 1800s.
